Hey folks! My name is Kat Cramer, and I’m a member of the Enterprise Customer Success Management team here at Litify. I started my career in B2C sales and transitioned into the software world around four years ago. I've always enjoyed engaging directly with customers throughout my career. Whether it's in sales, support, or ensuring their success, it has been a continuous learning process. At one point, I also delved into a product role, which not only honed my technical skills but also allowed me to craft tailored solutions for clients. I enjoyed this work but found that I thrive most in the direct interaction with customers.
Why she loves being part of the Litify Customer Success Team
Our Success team works very collaboratively, both within the team and with other departments at Litify. We regularly crowdsource solutions and best practices within the team, and our roles are designed so that we can truly build strong relationships with our customers — not just check a box. We have a deep bench of technical and industry knowledge, which yields tailored solutions for our clients!
What Kat does as a Customer Success Manager
This varies from client to client and depends on where a given firm is at in their Litify journey. Ultimately my goal is to understand a firm’s business goals and understand where our platform may support those goals. I meet weekly with most of my clients to stay close to these goals, as well as their in-flight projects. I help firms launch and adopt new Litify features, and I’m passionate about acting as a voice for my clients with our product and engineering team.
A recent win for one of Kat’s clients
Ooh, this is a fun one! Adopting new technology in order to compete in the future of law isn’t easy, and while I’ve seen plenty of solution-based wins, one of my recent favorites was seeing a large firm with many offices formalize administration, adoption, and training across the organization to put technology at the center of their operations. When everyone is rowing in the same direction and following the same processes, it becomes very clear what’s working and what’s not. This isn’t a flip of a switch change, but a decision around the firm culture that takes time and effort to implement.
Additional wins of late:
- I helped a firm automate time entry creation based on the completion of a particular task, which resulted in an additional $400K in billings per month
- I had a firm go live recently with an admin team that started with zero Salesforce expertise. They applied themselves to learning some of Salesforce’s more advanced automation during the project, and by the time they went live, these admins were developing advanced solutions and were able to hit the ground running on configuration of their org!
Next for Kat at Litify
I’m really excited about the direction of our product in 2024, especially around AI-oriented offerings. I’m looking forward to helping our clients better serve their clients, and learning a lot along the way!
