Hey All! My name is Tobin Saer, and I’m an Enterprise Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Litify. I began my Litify journey in November 2023, helping small to medium-sized personal injury law firms get the most out of Litify.
Over the last few years, Litify has rapidly expanded its footprint within insurance defense practices. This expansion created the need for a dedicated customer success team to support this growing base of clients. In January of 2025, I was promoted to Enterprise CSM and now partner with clients in this vertical. We have since grown this team to four CSMs working tirelessly across the business to deliver a best-in-class platform that can handle all of the nuanced requirements that insurance defense law firms have.
I began my professional career as a Business Development Representative with Workday in their Salt Lake City office. I then obtained an Account Executive position with another SaaS company, where I sold HR, payroll, and benefits software. My interest in investing and financial planning took over, and I moved to New Orleans with my wife to pursue a career as a financial advisor. After a few years of learning valuable financial practices, I realized how much I missed the SaaS world, so I joined Litify.
The Litify Customer Success team is truly world-class. Everyone on the team, from leadership down, believes fully in our mission and works tirelessly to accomplish it. I have worked for multiple SaaS companies and never witnessed this level of white-glove service from a customer success team. There is a certain mindset and expectation that our leaders have instilled in each one of us that is inspiring. It pushes me daily to improve at what I do so that my clients can become better at what they do! A few things I love about my role are problem-solving, building lasting relationships, and working with a team of folks who care about their clients and each other.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping implement a new process or product enhancement that improves how a customer operates. The Litify product team has made major improvements to our time and billing solution, especially when executing processes in bulk with minimal manual labor required.
We recently had a client go live on our time and billing solution, and they saw an immediate, quantifiable financial return on their Litify investment. This client had been using a third-party billing software to facilitate their complex billing process, which cost them $7,000 per month ($84,000 per year). With Litify’s time and billing solution, they could eliminate that tool, bring all time and billing processes in-house, and easily create actionable billing reports, allowing them to make sound business decisions. This dramatically improved their cash flow and has allowed the firm to focus on obtaining the best outcomes for their clients and hiring more attorneys.
Their attorneys also hit all their quarterly goals within the first two months of being live on Litify — a massive win for the entire firm!
My focus now, and in the immediate future, is continuing to build deeper relationships with my clients and advocating for any improvements to Litify’s solutions that will help them succeed. The future is extremely bright for how Litify shows up for the insurance defense vertical, and I’m lucky enough to be on the front lines of it.
I’m most excited to see how our various Litify AI and Agentforce projects unfold. With agentic AI being the next evolution of AI, and Salesforce being at the forefront of it, Litify and our clients are in a unique position to capitalize on the incredible benefits it has to offer. We have already built a number of agents that will make client processes exponentially more efficient, and they will only get more powerful and grow over time.
